RichieB Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Hi all, just seen a very sad sight, my Hegner scroll saw being taken away to be repaired. I only brought it in February and with 4 months off with my hand opp, it has not been over used. It was getting very noisy and made a loud bang when starting up Hope it won't be long before its back. Still with out the saw to use I can put the kettle on for tea and coffee this morning and bake a cake or two Richie Quote

Bendita Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 Look around and see if there is life beyond the scroll saw if you find it let some of us tied to our saws know please Quote
Wilson's Woodworking Posted July 31, 2014 Report Posted July 31, 2014 I am telling you there is only one cure for this problem. A scroller has to have a minimum of two scroll saws! That way when one breaks down you have a backup. I plan on buying a third and bigger scroll saw just so I won’t have to face this exact problem latter. wombatie 1 Quote
