danny Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I noticed this up in the branches last week. Just thought it was a gray paper plate that blew there and lodged..BUT.. Don't think this is the case now. Here is the Best pictures I could take. DOES ANYONE REGONIZE IT? Did watch it for many minutes and the only thing I seem was a FLYING OBJECT around it. Thought it could be a Bee Hive, but seems there would be LOTS of bees present at all times. Hey....Could it be from Outer Space? Thanks for your Input.............Danny :+} Quote

Gramp Paul...........That is a Great thought you have on the Haggis.... Googled and was comical to read. Sounded like these trees primarly grow where scotch is consumed. Is that you Roly? Phantom Scroller Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Danny or you could just leave it and let them be, as long as no kids can get at it. Roly I had one once in my shed I waited until the night then sprayed the life out of it and ran, that sorted it. Have you got a hang glider you can swoop in undetected. Rob Roy and grampa 2 Quote

Doug Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 And what was the story you heard about why Scot's wear kilts Doug???? . Rob Roy. I really was not going to respond until I saw your Latin but that pushed me over the edge. I was always told Scot's wear kilts because the sound of zippers frightens sheep. There are others which are better or worse depending on your humor. Before sharing I thought I should check and I did find it on the internet so maybe it is true rather than just humor. wombatie 1 Quote

Wilson's Woodworking Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Is that in town or out in the country? If it is in the country I would position my pickup so I had a safe shot and blast it with my shot gun and roll up the window to watch the show. Just make sure anyone else that may be around is in a safe place. If it is in town I would give the city office a call and let them know of the danger. They might remove it for you. As for the kilt, I here Velcro gloves are very fashionable with them. Quote
danny Posted August 6, 2014 Author Report Posted August 6, 2014 Hey peoples.... I am glad I started this post. Have really liked reading all the Funnies and also the Educational stuff. Learned a few things. Have a can of WASP SPRAY. Says will go 27 feet. I estimate that Hive is around 40 feet up. So far the wasp or hornets haven't been bothering me. Leaning more to just leaving it alone till like was mentioned when COLD WEATHER arrives they will VACATE. Then I think I will toss a few bricks. LOL Thanks for all your help.........................Danny :+} Quote
