jerrybritner Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) Good evening family: Sorry I have not been at my place at the table of late, most know I had a triple by pass almost a year ago, and I find myself still climbing the ladder of recovery. Some days I do fairly well, other days not so much and sleep becomes my best friend. That said I am still getting on the saw most days at least a few minutes a day, and the wife and I are still hopping around on the show circuit and loving every minute of it. Speaking of the show circuit, any of you that happens to be in the Oklahoma area three shows you might consider next year, is the Wiley Post Festival in Maysville Oklahoma, The Watonga Wine and Cheese Festival in Watonga Oklahoma, and the Holiday Craft Show in Mannford Oklahoma. I want to thank all of you for your prayers, support, compassion and friendship which has meant so much over the course of all the years I have been a part of the Village family, but especially with all that I have been dealing with over the last year. All of you are 100% awesome in my book! I belong to several scroll groups now and when someone asks a question about scrolling, patterns, or pattern making I always tell them to come visit my family over here at the village. Hope to be spinning your patterns across the saw real soon, Grandpa I am inching my way ever slowly in cutting your pattern with deer, hunter, and rifle, it is coming out nicely and I will post the finished work when I have it completed. Thanks Again With Sincere Gratitude Jer Edited November 22, 2014 by jerrybritner bobscroll, Wilson's Woodworking, Scrolling Steve and 1 other 4 Quote

Phantom Scroller Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 God Bless you Jer for a continual way forward to good health and what better than a nice calm bit of scrolling. Stay Safe Roly Quote
heppnerguy Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 Jer I am glad that you are hanging in there and firing up the scroll saw when your body allows you to do so. I find the saw very calming and relaxing. Not much I would rather do with my spare time. I am glad you found The Village family and decided to settle in for the long haul. Can't find a better group anywhere. I too have included you in my prayers for a complete recovery. Dick heppnerguy Quote
