DWSUDEKUM Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Thanks a lot DW.... I haven't found a buyer yet. I would think that there would be a speciality market for something like that. Want to bet the buyer might be 20 - 35, fresh out of college, a DnD player or a player of one of the myriad of online DnD type games such as World of Warcraft. Of course I could be wrong however is seems likely to me. I once cut a portrait of our current president and it came out great. I displayed it in show after show until one show about 3 years later someone went that was his and bought it. Point I am making is be patient, in the meantime it displays your talent nicely. DW Quote
heppnerguy Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Mike, It sure has been fun watching you tackle intarsia head on. I remember when you started doing intarsia and you have come really far in such a short time. Your pieces continue to get better all the time. Nice job on this one for sure. It looks really cool. I have never had any attraction to dragons but you have me thinking about making this one Dick heppnerguy Quote

Steve Curtis Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 Good job Mike, on selling it!! I have the pattern as well, waiting on the wood to grab me. My wood collection has run so thin, all the lumber company's around me have closed, I think I bought them out. Quote
jamminjack Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Mike All I have to say is that the lady in Vegas got one hell of a deal.... Intarsia is on my bucket list...... I have done wood working one kind or another for most of my adult life. Always wanted to try it, but never got enough courage to jump in... You my friend are among the chosen few with such amazing talent, and patience. Your work speaks for its self. Thanks for sharing, great job. Jamminjack Quote
