A Good Deal---Maybe?

My neighbor had this jointer (joiner?) sitting in his basement for the past 15 years just collecting dust. He said he's owned it for over 30 years. I have been looking for one for some time, but have not had the funds to purchase a new one. I asked him how much he wanted for it and he said he was planning on selling it at a yard sale for $100.00. I tried it and it still works well. The blades need to be sharpened or replaced and as is evident in the photo, there is plenty of surface rust. I offered him $50.00 and he accepted. Checking online, it appears that some parts are still available. Guess this will be my new project for awhile.

The info tag says either or. Right now it's set up for 110.

Those long bedded ones are the best for accuracy mine is shorter and easy to scalop if your not on the top of your game with an 8'+ board ! Good buy !
