I look at that pattern and instantly I say to myself, "How the heck it he going to cut that?"  and then I instantly understand.  Spiral Blade.  No other way... That will be an amazing and interesting piece when you are finished with it.  I can imagine that Paul is drooling at the jowls to have a stab at this one.. You two are like cutters, for sure.. I bet I can  and will learn something when we all get together next month... can't wait

I'm assuming that it's all one piece wood and not 4 separate ones when finished?Look like you like to stand at the Dewalt when you scroll?Very nice job so far! :) :) :) :) :) :) :);) ;) ;)

yes Kevin I stand up to scroll I always have. I cut the portrait into squares of 4 pieces then they will be trimmed to true them up and glued together onto a back board its a large project but then I don't do to many small ones as you know.

who is Paul?

Hans,

Paul is best known as 'scappile' and lives about 1 1/2 hours from me in Tri-Cities Washington.  When you come to visit me in August, Paul and his wife, Patty are going to try and come to my house, also, so he too has a chance to meet you are share some fun with us. You will like him a lot. Paul is a very easy to talk with person who also cuts the same type of projects that you do and uses the same spiral blade as you.

I hope I get to use the spirals before Paul as there isn't much left of them when I'm through with them.

 Very funny Hans,

you are so much like me, I can't believe it. I too am always commenting on things people say that can be taken more than one way...We are going to get along, just fine
