Can't remember who mentioned them in a post but looked and liked the looks better than the ones that Mike had. My arthritic fingers were giving me trouble with the old knobs on my DeWalt. OLD WORMY Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I made knobs for my DW788 by filling soda bottle caps with epoxy and then setting the knobs into the epoxy. This made round knobs that are much easier on the old fingers. Quote

NC Scroller Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Just be careful with homemade or larger knobs. The blade holding screws are steel and the blade holders on most saw are aluminum. Over tightening will strip out the treads in the holder and they ain't cheap. Quote
