Hey Guys and Girls,

Its been a while since I have been on here. Been sick A lot . I was out in the workshop yesterday looking over everything that I have made!! I have so much stuff and NO where to put anything!

I have tried selling my things a couple of times but here in Savannah no one wants to pay for anything .They want you to give it to them. I will throw it in the trash first!!

A few things I am saving for my Son on the CHANCE that he may one day want them but who knows.

Just rambling folks

KEEP ON SCROLLING

I am sad for one of you and Happy for the other. I have had a long spell when people don't to pay for anything but it is changing here so just keep trying to sell and maybe it will change down there. and kevin slow down  before you kill yourself.

I hear you.  People in my area want everything at garage sale prices.  I have quit trying to sell and do what I want and give it to someone who I think will appreciate it.  I have items for the people who deliver meals to my homebound mother, another set for the members of my woodcarving group, will deliver an item to the nurses at the Dr's office today, another to my Vet, am finishing items for the mail carriers.  I have also given items to some friends who have been supportive of me lately.  I have found that I get a lot more satisfaction from giving than I ever did from selling.

However, Kevin, my health has gotten worse rather than improving so don't think that will work.

I have been verry sucessfull in making things that sell.  I have also made a lot of things that do not sell well at all.  I no longer make those things.  If you want to make things to sell, you have to find out, through tial and error, what will sell and at what price.  Then decide if it is worth it to you  to make them.  I have also given a lot of things away to friends and relitives but selling stuff is way more rewarding to me.  Not for the money but for the positive feedback I get when a stranger likes it well enough to spend a little for it.

I made and took some items to my sister.  I told her ahead of our arrival, "If you don't need it give it to someone who does."  That worked real well.  She kept a few items and made some other folks happy.

Also check into the Aikin Makin show not too far away in Ailen, SC.
