Thanks for the kind comments.

Vector, the light area is 1/4" Baltic Birch Plywood and it is attached to a

3/4" pine backer that is painted flat black.

The backer and the cutting were both finished with an outdoor grade

polyurethane and then the 1/4" glued to the 3/4".
