James C Boykin Jr. Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 Remember before hand, there are no stupid questions. At least that is what I am telling myself. I am going to order from Mike's but I get to the page and it asks for quantity, do I put the actual quantity of blades or do I just put Gross, 1/2 Gross, or dozen? Thanks! Quote
DonR Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I have always used gross or 1/2 gross and it worked for me. Don R PS Where in Tennessee are you, we are in Crossvile Quote
Scrappile Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I do it as Don does and it works for me. I placed an order last Sunday, received yesterday. Great service. Now don't do as I did, forgot I wanted more drill bits also. Now I need to place another order! Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 When I order i usually mix two or three sizes to get gross pricing so i use dz per size and gross pricing ....if that makes sense! Quote

edward Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I ordered FD PS1 blades from WTB and had a problem with them breaking at the top and in the middle, I notified them but haven heard back. Think I may start using olson blades, this hasn't been the first time. edward Quote
ike Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 That is one of the reasons I use Olson's, the other reason is Olson's are easier to find with out ordering them. I did notice that W.T.B changed it's postage rates. Quote
Frank Pellow Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I've ordered both by the number of blades and by the 1/2 gross. I received exactly what I ordered. In case other Canadians are interested in ordering from Mike, Mike does not charge extra for shipping to Canada and on both of the two orders I have placed, the blades arrived exactly one week from the day that I placed the order. Also, there was no extra charge for duty or customs. Fab4 1 Quote

LarryEA Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) I don't think you can order 1 blade, so 1 means a dozen..... 12 = gross Edited January 17, 2016 by LarryEA tomsteve 1 Quote
Lucky2 Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 When buying from Mike, you could order by the dozen, or by the gross. Now that it's owned by WTB, I don't know if it's the same as it used to be. Len Quote
