Dan Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) So I was thinking (yeah, I do that sometimes) about some people I went to high school with. Two of them had names that, although cute, I would not give to my kids. One was Holly Wood and the other Shanda Lear. Do you know of anyone with names that are homonyms of an object or place? jerry1939 Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 Hi Buddy, I'm as dumb as a box of rocks. All that comes to my weak mind is: Wood - Would Holly - (See picture) Lear - I only think of the manufacturer of corporate jet planes. Wish I could be of REAL help. jerry Quote
Lucky2 Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 No Dan, I can't think of any. Jerry, I think you misunderstood Dan's question. He was asking if you knew of anyone who had a name that sounded like an object or, a place. The examples he gave, Holly Wood, could be the place Hollywood. And the other example Shandra Lear, changes in the object Chandelier by changing a couple of letters in the name. Len Quote
