jblock9907 Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) If anyone could help with a pattern it would be greatly appreciated. The little girls name is Victoria Ruth Brackbill. Her parents are close friends with my neighbor. I have been following the trials of the family for about the last 6 months or so. She fought a rare fatal disease, Krabbe's Leukodystrophy. She passed away on Easter Sunday at the age of 2. Thanks in advance. Edited April 4, 2016 by jblock9907 Quote

Ninuninu Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 Hey jblock. Saddened to hear about this beautiful child. As Mahendra said the photo is very small but I gave it my best shot to try a pattern for you. I took a little artistic licence and inverted the colours on her head band and the pattern is quite blurred but if you go around it with a fine liner or pencil you might be able to do something with it. Hope this helps. Tony Dave Monk and Gordster 2 Quote

Birchbark Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) Nice patterns guys! jblock9907, did you cut the last pattern i made for you? Have you ever posted a picture of the finished project? Here's my attempt at your pattern request. I hope it helps you, and i hope you help the poor friends, of your neighbor, that lost their child. jblock9907 Posted April 11, 2016 Author Report Posted April 11, 2016 Here is the finished portrait of Tori. Since I started doing portraits for the Patriot Guard, I have probably done no less than 100. And probably an additional 150 Memorial Plaques. Each one is special and each one sometimes is a challenge. Nothing is more challenging than making a portrait for the parents of a 2 year old. Not ashamed to say but I had to take a few breaks while cutting. Ninuninu 1 Quote
