Hi Helmut

Another reason to put patterns on a USB stick.

Nowadays, they are cheap and very easy to use

Sorry, to hear about your problem

Hopefully, someone near by can make it better

so you can at least save your patterns and other important info.

I'm sure there are some really good patterns in there

Good Luck

I copy all my patterns to a DVD, I just went through a hard drive that  died. I was really happy for the dvd copies for a lot of things. I doubt anyone can argue with the art of backing things uo. I learned the hard way years ago,

Sorry to hear that....

As other have said....BACK UP....FREQUENTLY

If you have power surges, one can use at a minimum a GOOD surge protector. Also, you can use a battery UPS which will help protect from surges and keep your computer on if power fails.

None of these options is cheap but when you lose your data they become cheap.

I am doing a backup tomorrow on the computers in my house.

Oh no Helmut, that's terrible, hopefully someone can help you out. If it would help, I could send you a copy of all of the patterns that I bought from you. Just let me know if you need them, good luck buddy.
