To see a satellite image, go to Google Earth.  Type in "Fort McMurray, Canada."   Pan to the north and you will see 2 areas, 1 north & 1 south.  Google can only take pictures of that when the satellite is in the proper trajectory and there are no clouds.  Today it's the same image as it was 24 hours ago.

Heartbreaking .for the people.

I live approximately 15 Hrs. from Fort McMurray and the skies here have been cloudy with smoke affecting many people with breathing problems. Cooler temperatures and some rain has helped, but everyone is praying for a tremendous amount of more rain soon. The Slave Lake wild fire in 2012 was horrible but this one is ten times worse. Unbelievable the number of people from all walks of life and from all over giving and offering their help to the people of Fort McMurray.

Many videos available on the social media apps.
