MTCowpoke22 Posted June 19, 2016 Report Posted June 19, 2016 Working on a pattern for my next scroll saw project, but a guy can only stare at a screen for so long. So I spent the day in the shop and turned my first cup, a couple of bottle stoppers, and a flower vase. The cup is caragana, which I consider a nasty bush, but the inner purple heart wood is amazing. The bottle stoppers are Russian Olive Burl, and the vase was an old cedar fence post. Quote

Lucky2 Posted June 20, 2016 Report Posted June 20, 2016 Tim, that's some nice looking turning work, the bottle stops are outstanding. The old cedar post doesn't look to shabby either, I must gather up a few of them old posts to use myself. Len MTCowpoke22 1 Quote
