15 years ago our world changed as we knew it. The events on that day still ring out as if they happened yesterday. I hope we all take a moment on that day to stop and pause and reflect on those events. We WILL never forget. God Bless us all.

If we only knew before hand

15 Years oh my, time certainly flies.  We all know where we were when we heard, the same as when we heard of the JFK assassination.

You are right, the world was changed forever on that day and it does seem like only yesterday and not 15 years ago.  I pray for our world every day.  As a mother of young children on that day (they were 4 and 5), I knew their world they were going to grow up in would never be the same as the one I grew up in. I pray for all those directly effected by the tragedy as they deal again with the loss and devastation brought into their lives.

My kids are just a bit older than Melanie's, but I remember my youngest who could barely write at the time wrote a scathing open letter to who ever did this.

 

As a child of the 50's, I know the changes and like others wish for a simpler time for my kids and their eventual offspring.

Spent this evening watch some of the documentaries that showed new footage and gave even further insight to  that day. Still get chills.

Definitely a tough day. Praying or all involved. Saddens my heart
