Fab4 Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 Kevin: You should make them a personal name sign so they stop taking advantage of you P.T. Barnum said it best This is what I think of when I read your post Fab4 Quote

Phantom Scroller Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 Should there be a 12 months guarantee on these or at least 6 months if not go somewhere else or say you'll take them to the small claims court if they don't replace them. Just a thought. Roly Quote
ike Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 (edited) After the first l lemon I think I would have found a different place to do business. If they treat others lik they treat you ether won't be in business very long. your are problably stuck with this. IKE Edited November 23, 2016 by ike Quote

LarryEA Posted November 24, 2016 Report Posted November 24, 2016 You need to answer the question, "What is the problem"? Quote
Lucky2 Posted November 24, 2016 Report Posted November 24, 2016 Kevin, did you really expect them to do something for you, your talking about a used computer that you have owned for at least a year? Most computers have a 90 day warranty at best, and they are new ones. Sometimes, people just expect to much from a retailer. If I had been working at the store where you do business, I probably would have shook my head at your request for free repair work. Personally, I don't expect them to give you any kind of a refund, and I would have told you that if you had asked beforehand. It's very hard to get a refund or service work on a unit that is that old and used, it's electronics. What is their regular warranty like for used units, how long is it for? Len Quote
amazingkevin Posted November 24, 2016 Author Report Posted November 24, 2016 30 days warranty i never used it as it's a back up computer as i told them many many times since i bought it.You can tell the computers i use full of saw dust this one is pristene clean .He said he'd work with me Well working with me his way is $40.oo back i bought $500 worth of computers from him this is the worst not even a minutes time on it ,the other on 2 months and the one i use that they put in a new keyboard 2 years Quote
Sparkey Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 The 30 day warranty starts from the day you bought it not the first time you use it. You would be much better off buying new. Quote
WayneMahler Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 I think I would start looking elsewhere. Sounds to me like they are taking advantage of you and more then likely everyone else they deal with. Makes me sad to read this post. Quote
