I use Corel, but I'm not sure about that.

 

If it's a object you created, is it closed all the way. Try picking the shape tool and right clicking the object. If it has the "auto-close" selection available, then the shape isn't actually closed. I love Corel, but it is a very "picky" program. I've had troubles like that before and it usually ends up being something simple in the end, but hard to find. Like there is a spot in the line where the nodes aren't actually conected. The line can cross itself without the object actually being closed if the nodes aren't conected.
