Phantom Scroller Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 I've actually seen that happen and they had no idea the the fuel pipe will pull out to the other side so funny to watch but had to get out and tell them eventually after a couple of circuits of the garage. Funny or what. Roly keefie 1 Quote
Dan Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 Did you know there is a little arrow on the gas guage that points to the side of the car that the gas tank filler cap is on? Honest. Take a look. At least in the US. Maybe not in the UK. keefie and Phantom Scroller 2 Quote
lost_in_endicott Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 I remember doing that the first time I drove my girlfriends car. Quote

I'll look next time I get in the car Dan but surely people must know where you fill the car from how many times do you do it and If I get into someone elses car I always check how to get the cap open before I drive away with all these super gadgets on these cars now these days hidden buttons etc. Roly Quote

ScollSaw Slasher Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 Hey, just got a Ford Escape, and the one thing we don't like is the gas is on the passenger side, first time ever. So I can understand, especially when I go back to the other vehicle. Mrs Slasher really had a hoot watching that. And have you ever gotten a rental and have to figure, left, right or in the rear. dgman Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 Yeah, I remember the time I was sitting at a gas station going through a manual to find where to fill it and find the release button on a rental. Quote
amazingkevin Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 https://youtu.be/vupgBykQnko Must be tricky in the UK working at a gas station was a nightmare trying to figure out where the cap is ,in the tail light, behind the liscence plate, side of the car ,next to the trunk on top,and more! WayneMahler Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 Too funny. Done that with a rental car. Not as many times trying though Quote
JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted January 3, 2017 Report Posted January 3, 2017 As mentioned there is an indicator in the gas guage as to where the filler cap is. Rental or not just look Quote
