DukeNukem Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 This is the Chinese symbol for luck, does anybody know if it's supposed to be in a certain position in order for it to be that symbol? Or can it be in any position? Thanks for the help. Jerry Lucky2, Scrolling Steve, 125 CSL and 2 others 5 Quote

Lucky2 Posted January 1, 2017 Report Posted January 1, 2017 Jerry, this is a real stumper, cause going by what Russell posted the symbol you cut means Wealth. If I had to guess though, I would place it the way you have it showing in your picture. Len Quote

DWSUDEKUM Posted January 2, 2017 Report Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Nicely done Jerry. That symbol means the 4 elements AIR, WATER, FIRE, EARTH and that they are all part of the whole. The symbol as cut very closely resembles the Celtic version of that. Celtic Shield Knot, Germanic, Protection, Amulet, The shield knot is an universal ancient symbol and has been used by a variety of cultures for protection. The Celts put this design on warriors shields and on clothing, to ward off evil & sickness. DW Edited January 2, 2017 by DWSUDEKUM DukeNukem 1 Quote
