It doesn't mean you lose a friend, it just means you now have a warm place in the winter to go and visit a good friend.   We will always have room for you both.  You are a good friend and I do not want t o lose a friend, because I mmoved

have to change your name Dick you cant be Hepner guy in Arizona

But  it took so long to build my clientele  but I have to admit, I had that thought just today myself. Maybe I could call myself Hot in Arizona.    Or maybe Scorpion Guy.

As I said before that is my kind of house.

IKE

We looked at a lot of houses and everything was so nice but we were looking for the one that seemed "right" and we both ' knew' this house the one.  We got finalized, yesterday

Lovely kitchen.  There would be room for the scroll saw on the left, the planer on the right and the table saw in the middle.

You need to think like a guy Dick.  :D  :D

Well, ladies, my wife says she hates to cook also, but she is  awfully good at what she hates.  If she loved cooking I would be 600 lbs I guess.  My wife is even a better cook than my mother was, and that is really saying something....

Dick and Sharon, I think I read you finalized yesterday(?).  If so, congratulations, it looks like a lovely place.  I well really miss our visits, but we will meet up along the way once and a while.  How is the Heppner family taking it?

I'm glad to hear your wife is there with us Paul.  I tell everybody, I said I don't like to cook - not that I can't cook. ;) I can cook, but I find no joy in cooking.  I know many people who LOVE to cook - who find great joy in it - I don't.  I cook to eat because we need to eat to live.  ;) But there is no "joy" or "happiness" from the act of cooking.  My husband likes to cook more than I do so when he retires he will become the "cook" in the family.

Dick @heppnerguy I was wondering about the Heppner girls in the family were going to do if Mom and Dad moved away from Heppner!

Our girls in Heppner were quite unhappy but they are starting to accept that our moving is something that is going to happen.. we told them we would purchase them air fare to come visit whenever they have the time off.  I never thought at 77 we would be making a move like this but we prayed for help in finding us a home and the Lord showed us  this one.

the first year will be interesting for sure. the humidity was so low when we  were there, like 7 %, unlike Florida is...I was there last year moving my son there and it was 108 to 112 every day and I was a little uncomfortable for sure.. We will just go back to Oregon from teh middle of June to the middle of August. I need to keep the wife comfortable and happy..

I bet it is not a hard adjustment.  Where you and I live it is not quite as dry but almost.  Now the one time I went to Florida, I stepped off the plane and thought I was going to die!!  Wasn't even as hot temperature-wise as we have in the summer, but the humidity, wow, made it hard to breath.
