This is from a modified quilt pattern which is not available any longer.  It was modified for scrolling by a fellow scroller from California.

The wood is mostly cherry in a variety of colors. Walnut, maple, babinga and mahogany.  Very dark is Wenge (eyes, mouth, shadow behind ear).  Yellowheart for the eye.

Absolutely stunning piece of artwork you have crafted Monti.  I too saw it over on Intarsia Nuts Facebook group and thought he was beautiful piece of artwork.  So much so that I did a little investigating as to who the original artist is of the Quilt pattern and did manage to track that information down.  While that pattern is not presently available, she does have other beautiful animal Quilt/Applique patterns that could be converted to Intarsia type patterns I think.
