Clayton717 Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 OK You asked for it, here is a video of me doing a wood burn. It is kinda long. I didn't talk or explain much while doing it. I'm not used to talking while working. Like I've said before I am NO expert in wood burning. I just enjoy it. If you have a question ask and I'll try to answer. The best thing I can tell you is just practice and develop your style. Here is a link to the you tube video. - meflick, Falcon, Lucky2 and 1 other 4 Quote

meflick Posted June 27, 2017 Report Posted June 27, 2017 Thanks again for taking the time to make the video Clayton. I finally took some time to watch it. I agree with Don, good video, very well done and I enjoyed watching the process. It was in fact very helpful for me to "see" you doing the work and hearing a bit when you adjusted the temp up or down and why you were. Tell you wife not to startle you like that when you are burning, could have hurt yourself! Clayton717 1 Quote
Clayton717 Posted June 28, 2017 Author Report Posted June 28, 2017 Thanks Don and Melanie. I'm happy it was helpful. Quote

Rob Roy Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 Excellent video Clayton, clear, concise and interesting. I have worked with wood since I left school,( a couple of years ago), but pyrography is something I have never tried. The only wood burning I have ever done is in the fire when something goes wrong. Thanks for sharing your work with us and putting in the time to make the video. Take care. Rob Roy. Clayton717 1 Quote
