danny Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Good Hump Day Morning to All.... Well Last weekend was Good. Saturday was As Usual the Best. Enjoyed seeing all the other vendors form last year. Like a Reunion thing. Made $554.00 sales there. This amount is $200 better than last year. I am convinced that what Didn't sale one year will most likely sale the next year. In my case this applied. My Crosses were a Flop. Not a one sold. Last year they sold Great. Cut a Portrait of Harry Potter and his gang stacked 4 of 1/8". Mainly for my Wife who is a Fan. Took 3 and all sold. Put a price of $25, All 3 sold before noon. Wished I had of cut more. Sports Plaque with the Word Art was a Flop. Sold ONE out of a DOZEN. Anyway we had a lot of Fun and Enjoyed both days................... Danny :+} Fab4, Lucky2, MTCowpoke22 and 2 others 5 Quote

dgman Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Good to hear you had a good show Danny! How did it go with taking credit cards? Quote
Scrappile Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Glad it was a good show. I think the interaction and talking hobbies would be worth the whole experience. Making a little money would be the icing on the cake. Quote
danny Posted November 15, 2017 Author Report Posted November 15, 2017 Thank You's for Nice Comments. DAN.... Only had 2 times a customer wanted to use their cards. Both times it would not work due to No Internet Connection ?? We were using a lesser priced tablet. Both people did write a check, so nothing lost. Yea! Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Congrats on a good sale ! Quote
Lucky2 Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 Danny, congrats on the successful sale, $200.00 more then last year is a big improvement. Something I figured out a long time ago, is that you can never tell up front what will be a good seller. Len Quote

Iguanadon Posted November 16, 2017 Report Posted November 16, 2017 Danny, does your tablet have an internet account/connection? If you don't have access to WIFI at an event, you need to have a data/internet connection thru Verizon or TMobile, etc. Just as an FYI if you weren't aware. Quote

danny Posted November 20, 2017 Author Report Posted November 20, 2017 Iggy all you said I did learn while there. We were only using a Tablet and was relying on a WIFI being available. We bought the Square Reader with intentions of using it on the Iphone, but connection cable did not work. Fit perfectly in the tablet. We did run it thru a Test at home and Everything worked Perfectly. Anyway Thanks for being Concerned. Next year we will be ready............Danny :+} Quote
