Mail box banks

Made a few more mail box banks. Made from oak, hickory and ash. The oak one has a nickle plated door. They stand about 8 1/2" tall.

I have always loved those with those old style PO Boxes.  Reminds me of going to the post office when I was very very young.

I love these. I had just bought a few of the doors so will attempt a few of my own over the winter. Can I ask if you sell them what are you getting for them??  Thanks for showing.

Yes I do sell them. I get $ 45 for them.

Hey $45 is not expensive at all. I will be sticking a high$$$ on mine. Those doors are not cheap and I bought the coin slots too.

Sweet! I've made a few but never put them up for sale. Maybe next year I'll make a bunch to sell.

Out of the 3 I think the oak was easiest to cut.

I liked this idea so I made four of them with doors I had setting around for years.  Sold them all.  Hard to sell. ( Who wants a coin bank, except kids?) 

 

I did sell one to the wife of a retired letter carrier.
