Brianr24 Posted November 28, 2017 Report Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) I'm still working through the Kathy wise beginner projects. I'm happy with this except the color break on the tail but I'm not going to let it bother me.this was my 1rst attempt at color breaks. Next time I will glue together to sand . Okay it's bothering me. I'm going to have to try to fix it. S#$%$!&#ch! Edited November 28, 2017 by Brianr24 GPscroller, don watson, jollyred and 2 others 5 Quote
meflick Posted November 28, 2017 Report Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) Brian. Looks very nice. One thing that Judy Gale Roberts (JGR) teaches in her classes is to use a "sanding shim" for pieces that you want to sand together. Cut it to the size needed for the pieces you want to sand together. Then, use light duty double sided carpet tape to tape the pieces down to the sanding shim to hold them securely while you sand them together. Edited to add: Forgot Judy has an article about using sanding shims on her website. It can be found here: https://intarsia.com/blogs/news/using-sanding-shims Edited November 28, 2017 by meflick GPscroller and GrampaJim 2 Quote
