Sourcing a style of pattern

Hi not sure if ye can help but I am mad to cut/make something like this...

Problem is I can't seem to find any sort of pattern for this kind of thing bar german amazon but they want to send me the templates by post. Was I hoping to download a template via PDF or something?

Thanks but they want over 150 for a single pattern or maybe thats to buy it already cut out?  Either way not suitable for me. Thanks though!

One of our members, Helmut, has a site that sells patterns.  Five or six bucks.  Seems fair to me.

Over the years the scroll saw magazines have published a few. You could look through back issues.

Here is link where you can get a free PDF download "Lighting the Tree" Volker Arnold pattern of this style.  I have cut it and it is neat to do. I cut it in 1/4 " and instead of cutting the square tabs and holes I use wooden dowels.  This allows the cutting to be taken apart for storage.  Scroll down to Test Drive section for this pattern and a few more free ones.

Not sure you can get the Helmut patterns through that site any more, Russell.  Helmut passed away last year.  I email them a few days ago and have received no response.  You came purchase Helmut's patterns through here:
