Barn owl

HI all

 

I'm looking for a Barn Owl pattern I can use for a Intarsia design.

A Sitting and in flight designs.

Any chance you have one I can use please?

Well...     This is what i came up with.  I hope, for your sake, that someone can give you a better one, but if nobody gives you a real one, maybe you can do something with this.

Kathy Wise has a really good one in her book called  Intarsia Birds.  I have done the Screech Owl and Great Horned Owl from the book.

Did see one from other artists that I am familiar with.  Since you are not in the States, I am not sure if any of these can be sent to you digitally or not.  If you see one you like, I would reach out to the artist and see if it is possible.

Your right meflick I'm not from the US but from the UK so its hard to get patterns etc for Intarsia.

I would love to be able to get the Scrollsaw woodworking & Craft magazine but as far as I know its not avalible here.

@WolfyPete - I checked Fox Chapel's Site (they are the publishers of Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts Magazine) and looks like you can get an International Subscription.  You can find the information for it here: https://foxchapelpublishing.com/subscription-scroll-saw-woodworking-crafts-international.html  - assume this covers anywhere outside the US and Canada because they have a separate link for those in Canada which is here: https://foxchapelpublishing.com/subscription-scroll-saw-woodworking-crafts-canada.html  Clearly if you subscribe you would get them some time later then those in the US and Canada and only you can decide if its worth the international subscription price for 4 issues.  I do think that there are several good items in each issue and usually at least one intarsia piece in each.

I think there's a German version over on your side of the pond. Under another name.Google scroll saw magazines .
