Popular Post blights69 Posted January 7, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted January 7, 2018 Well I behaved leading up to Christmas fixed the things that I was asked to in January just before Christmas and it worked I got me a Pyrography machine so thought I would give it a go and have a practise today see what it`s all about they certainly make it look easier than it is more practise needed but I quite like it very relaxing I found, all need a finish on them yet . Scrappile Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Frank, you certainly are a talent! I have had a nice wood burning set-up for years that my wife bought for me. I can't even come close to as good as you have done. I bet you can paint pictures also.... Very nice work. blights69 1 Quote

WayneG Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 well done frank, I have one of the 35$ burners from a craft store and have used it from time to time but have never really caught on to this, likely due to the poor quality of the burner. what did you get? can you post a link/pic? I am looking at upgrading as I think pyrography is something I would really like blights69 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Looks to me like the burner does not have to be expensive. Check out https://www.minisapyrography.com/ she does it with one of these: https://www.walnuthollow.com/store/wood-burning/tools/items/creative-versa-tool-/38283/ blights69 1 Quote

WayneG Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 ya ok thanks that is the kind I though it was, the one I have is completely different is more like the pen only that plugs in and has different bits that screw into the tip. I am going to look into buying one like this. thanks again frank and scrappile blights69 1 Quote
