  16. Ya and it seems to need a cleaning lol…. am in the process of making a backdrop for photos but it’s way down in my priority list
  17. The middle one I posted here previously. the smaller darker feather is cut from the mahagony of a wooden boat & its base is cut from a mahogany bed post. My intention was to make this smaller darker one resemble an old ink feather pen and ink container. the more multicoloured feather is it from rosewood hardwood flooring. It’s base is also cut from a mahogany bed post. reduce, reuse and recycle jack Johnson says lol sculptures are so much fun
  18. the blue looks good, color paper likely fades over time though, you may want to paint a piece of wood and attach.
  19. amazing work, I tell ya, got to give kudos where its due that is spectacular, not sure how you folks continue to cut the super detailed pieces of art. begun woodworking again in Nov after years away and I simply am not able to do those type anylonger sadly, too hard on the fingers and shoulders.
  20. Cut from rosewood hardwood flooring. Mounted on rosewood, oak and wenge finished with tung oil and watco lacquer
  21. Dan, i also thought it would make a great trivet...that said, I wanted the sculpture so I did not even show my wife prior to mounting it on its base LOL
  22. Yes for sure, it happens fairly often for me. In fact, just happened today on a hiking staff i am making.
