  2. no worries at all, thanks for the feedback. Next time I cut this I will actually splatter paint the backbord orange as I see now that it would in fact work as the orange could be seen through the cut outs IMO, I do like your idea of getting the frame green and or yellow to make it look like the tiger is looking out. I think that would be fabulous

    Finally got around to framing this raven cut from old birch flooring, mounted on engineered flooring sample framed with maple from a entertainment unit

  23. thanks folks! I wanted to use colors on the bird itself however with 3/4 inch wood and the thin slats of the bird everywhere only a few pieces of the body could you see colors so I decided to go with black and splatter paint (with 20 gauge wire folded to form a loop dip it in the paint and then spatter away) the frame to add color to the piece.
