new2woodwrk Posted March 19, 2018 Report Posted March 19, 2018 This is the 2nd one I made. The first one, I never used because it wasn't very accurate but this one is actually accurate and easy to use. And my first 8 cuts using the sled - now I can make frames in bulk with no worries Working on my router or rabbet cutting next and then back to scroll sawing Lucky2 and bobscroll 2 Quote

I've been meaning to make this for months, and after a weekend of frustrating frame attempts I bit the bullet and went for it This one was very easy to make. I had a video and plans to walk me through every step. If you want the plans and vid, let me know and I'll post the link Edited March 20, 2018 by new2woodwrk Quote
new2woodwrk Posted March 20, 2018 Author Report Posted March 20, 2018 Knocked out 4 frames this morning - I'm loving this thing! Quote

Karl S Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Jigs really help keeping things accurate, and also speed up our progress in the shop. Looks like you have a goodie there, Thanks for sharing with us. new2woodwrk 1 Quote
JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 Sometimes making jigs is the best part of a project. You figure out a way to overcome the impossible. I am constantly making jigs. I have jigs laying around the shop I forgot what I made them for. I now label any jigs I make just for that reason. Repeatability and accuracy is key. new2woodwrk and bobscroll 2 Quote
