Finally made my miter sled for frames

This is the 2nd one I made.

The first one, I never used because it wasn't very accurate but this one is actually accurate and easy to use.

And my first 8 cuts using the sled - now I can make frames in bulk with no worries

Working on my router or rabbet cutting next and then back to scroll sawing

you will like that a lot, I know that I like the one I made for my saw.  Make cutting miters very easy and repeatable.

IMO anyone who does work that needs to be framed needs one of these - buying frames can get very expensive unless you can pick them up at yard sales etc on the cheap and stock up.

I've been meaning to make this for months, and after a weekend of frustrating frame attempts I bit the bullet and went for it

This one was very easy to make. I had a video and plans to walk me through every step.

I know right? I don't have a lot that are my "goto" jigs, but this one is exceptional!

Jigs really help keeping things accurate, and also speed up our progress in the shop. Looks like you have a goodie there, Thanks for sharing with us.

Sometimes making jigs is the best part of a project. You figure out a way to overcome the impossible. I am constantly making jigs. I have jigs laying around the shop I forgot what I made them for. I now label any jigs I make just for that reason. Repeatability and accuracy is key.
