Corian rings

Felt like making a few rings after dinner, the jade color one started out as one but I wanted to have two thin ones so I cut it in two on my micro lathe

thanks Rockytime, you know Corian is a really neat material. When I first got some I had no idea what I was going to do with it the stuff. I first started to sand a small piece and was surprised at how it is easy to work with. I tried drilling a piece and it worked well, then I cut a ring. I have made about 2 dozen or so and they are really popular

thanks Kevin, not wood this time though...its Corian, the last ones I posted were bentwood rings.
