I chose propane to keep temps more steady.....kinda set it & forget it.....this smoker has a thermocouple to turn on/off when needed......handy when you have a cool morning when you start & it warms up 20°, this smoker doesn't care...... I passed up on a beautyful free smoker just for this reason.Eating A BBQed steak is like smoking 60 pacs of cigerettes just saying.A doctor will never perscribe smoke to cure anything. smitty0312 1 Quote
