I’m thinking of buying one of these bad boys to compliment my scroll saw .....anyone have one of these & how do you like it?

And how hard is it to attach the frikkin laser to the frikkin head of a frikkin shark?  They were never clear on that.

Unless they have recently upgraded the Shark attachment it will" is a 3 watt laser and will only burn into the material you are using creating more of a surface engrave"  I use a laser and it is a 35watt and I really wish I had a 45 or higher.  Russ

It Is a K40 laser....40W

I ordered one a week or so ago and took delivery of it a few days ago.. I haven't even opened up the box yet.. Not sure if I'll be able to use it at all until warmer weather since I'm in a unheated shop and don't need to freeze my laser tube or cooling lines etc..

Did you end up buying one? Just wondering.. There are a lot of videos on youtube about them but mostly reviews etc. If anyone knows a good forum or message board specific to the K40 that'd be nice to know about. I've found a few nice groups on Facebook but I don't really care for the clunky platform of Facebook groups.

Hi All,

I have been using a BangGood 650mm x 500mm laser engraving machine for a little while now.

  I joined the http://www.benboxlaser.us site and it has given me all I need so far in regard to getting the best from the machine. This site covers Ralph's BCL (BenCutLaser) and Zax's T2 laser programmes. Very informative and much like here where everyone helps with their experiences.

I recently engraved this coaster for an ex-Royal Artillery friend.

Decided to  in-box my K-40 today an look it over good  before I leave it set until warmer weather. I’m not certain what can be run if anything besides distilled water for cooling it, and the water would freeze so I’ve gotta research that before I do any running of it. I did power it up to be sure it would turn on though. 

I guess I thought the video would load automatically so one doesn't have to download it... It's only 8 sec. video with me powering on the machine and it lights up.. so nothing special.. LOL
