Popular Post JimErn Posted December 31, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 31, 2018 Thinking back to when I discovered this hobby a couple of years ago and joined this community, I wanted to express my thanks. Not sure when you stop being a newbie, but I feel I still am, and I do appreciate everything. Answering my questions, that I am sure have been covered numerous times in the past, The encouragement when a cutting is posted Sharing the wealth of knowledge about the machines, I have learned a lot without having to actually use any others The pattern designers who donate their time and expertise Sharing techniques, tips and tricks to make things easier and the general sense of camaraderie - wow! So a big heartfelt thank you to everyone, and may the new year be better than the last. wombatie, Hermit, WayneMahler and 8 others 11 Quote
Scrappile Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 I agree 100%, well I don't feel like a "newbie", I'm too old to feel new! Quote
WayneMahler Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 I agree with you Jim. But this seems to be the foundation of the village here. What a great place to learn share and grow together. Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 Love me some Village ! Quote

Heli_av8tor Posted January 1, 2019 Report Posted January 1, 2019 This group has been bad for me. I find I'm spending more time reading it than scrolling! Seriously, I'm learned so much from y'all both direct responses to my questions and reading responses to others questions. As a new scroller and group member all of you have made me feel very welcome. Hope 2019 brings the best for each of you. Tom danny, Gordster and spotsdad 3 Quote
wombatie Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 I have been here for 10 years and 1 day. Kevin and I are what I believe to be the longest serving Villagers, and we are still leaning. It's always great to see new faces but it's even better when they stick around and join in the conversations. Jim, Ditto to every thing that you said. Here's to the best community on the internet.
