  1. Something he will treasure more as time passes and long after he's forgotten most of his other gifts.
  2. How wide and deep is the groove in the Carter Stabilizer bearing? Thanks,
  3. Two Great Artists - The musician and the pattern maker
  4. My wife has the Scan &Cut. Good to know it could be useful for Me!
  5. No matter how well I cleaned the tips I was always fighting plugged nozzles. Then I read to not use the caps. I’ve not had a clogged tip since. And it does Not harden in the bottle.
  6. Nice job. I too have used food coloring. The neat thing about puzzles like this is that when it becomes too easy for the child you can cut it into more pieces!
  7. The bird is a great accent
  8. I like it. At least last years wasn’t a tattoo!
  9. I disagree. If you can afford and want it then buy it. What difference does it make if you have a limited time to enjoy it?
  10. He can only cut to the left!
  11. Many of my first power tools were really junk when I got them and they certainly were after I used them to death. I keep them for loaners and never loan my good ones. Even then I have a sign-out sheet by the shop door and everything gets logged out and in. I started this after one too many times that I wasted an hour or two looking for a tool only to call my son in desperation and hear him say "Oh ya, I think I've got that". The list isn't needed much now that he moved out of state.
  12. I put a riser block on my old Delta clone and put the “cool block” guides. I could never get it to cut straight until I watched and followed Alex Snodgrass (of Carter Products) setup video. Also don’t overlook the benefits of a quality blade. I like Timberwolf but haven’t tried many others. resawing is now a breeze.
  13. What a cool idea. Now, if I can get my brother to do the peg holes with his CNC router...
  14. Wow! Some very thin support for some of the sections. How did you do that without breaking? Tom
  15. Ask for hardware cloth. comes in various size squares.
