smitty0312 Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 (edited) Worked on this new chaise lounge for our deck yesterday & today.....made from pressure treated wood to last a very long time....frame & legs made from 2x stock....top slats are 5/4 deck boards....backrest has 4 different settings.....found a cushion on clearance at Menards for cheap....even put a cup holder in one of the armrests.....planning on staining next year after treated wood dries out.....it’s very heavy duty..... new2woodwrk Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 (edited) That's a good looking chair - I have that on my to do list for one day. Did you build it from plans? Just a quirky question: what if the person sitting in the chaise is a lefty? LOL Edited March 31, 2019 by new2woodwrk smitty0312 1 Quote

Heli_av8tor Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 A great place to sit with a cold one to contemplate your next scrolling project. smitty0312 1 Quote
MrsN Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 If I had a chair like that I would do far less scrolling in the summer months. smitty0312 1 Quote
RabidAlien Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Only ONE drink holder? I'm disap.......OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. I get it! You're building a taco-tray/nacho-plate for the other arm! Makes sense now. Well built! smitty0312 1 Quote
