Foxfold Posted June 19, 2019 Report Posted June 19, 2019 I've just been introduced to the joys of a belt/bobbin sander. Tony showed me how to use his. Wow, that saved me a lot of work on my latest project. I'm doing a sweetie/toffee holder in the shape of a bat. Now I just have to paint it. Never done this kind of piece before, but I've quite enjoyed it. Lucky2, jollyred, Scrolling Steve and 6 others 8 1 Quote

It's 4 pieces of plywood glued together and I cut it on a bandsaw, I struggle to cut ¼" ply on a scrollsaw Quote

RJF It's one of these. It's amazing, (well to me who knows nothing ) It can be flat or angled at varying degrees and the 'flat' piece lifts off and the round Bobbin pieces are easy to fit in place, and they go up and down as they go around.
