Interesting but looks like segmentation as cut primarily from the pine board and not individual pieces.  Very good shaping of pieces and staining the colors.

Chuck, I like it. Brought out the greys  in the wolf pattern which most wolf intarsia projects don't (one I did included). Also like the shagginess of the wolf in the wild instead of a wolf who went to a doggie salon. How did you go about it?

I like it! Especially when seen from an angle instead of straight on.
The shims and shaping are very well done in my opinion.

One he'll've a lot of  work no doubt, I would love to see the eyes more pronounced but it is what it is. It is perfect in everyway don't get me wrong.!!! Keep your work coming my friend!!!

I put a thin metal cutting wheel on a dremel, set it at high speed, and just touched the wood with it in a thousand places......I think it made it look pretty cool.
