I was just looking it over good and noticed that stand though.. what the heck? 

The hour meter is hard to tell if it's 1445 or 144.5.. The thing is hardly used if it's 144.5.. I got almost that on my new Hawk.. since March of this year..

This brand came up here a year or so ago and got me interested.  The stand looks weak but supposedly it is fine since the machine is vibrationless, at least according to the users I talked with.

As long as its been around even 1445 is low use

I would think the hour meter would have a decimal point... maybe not.  Anyway, be fun to get to check one of those out.  But, I would be concerned about parts.

Yea, part availability is a big issue with these.  I saw one for sale a year or so ago.  I considered it, but ultimately decided not to even ask for a price on it.  I was afraid if the price was too low, I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation to drag it home.

Virtually hand made Ernie passed away several years ago. New price was 1700. 1500 seems a little high,  they are good saws.

I would think parts would be a problem if you needed them as they don't make them any more,
