  1. I believe sawbird is also a rebrand of niqua.

  6. Large delays at ports and a shortage of shipping containers has caused a shortage of several products including imported cheese. Perhaps thats the reason.
  7. Save your alder cutoffs for smoking especially fish. I've never cut it but smoked a lot of salmon.
  8. I always use a backer for support and help eliminate the fuzzy from the back. I usually use spiral blades but the same applies to both types.
  9. To clean veins I use non waxed dental floss.
  10. Many hardwoods are toxic. Scrollsaws produce very fine dust. MDF and any treated wood are hazardous. I have cut many and in some cases a lot of it. Highly recommend using a dust mask when cutting especially the hazardous materials.

  12. A drop of mineral oil along the cut line, slow saw and feed speed, use skip tooth blade.

  14. A piece of window screen placed over the pick up nozzle should stop small pieces without stopping dust extraction.
  15. I re use for rough cutting, and dabbing glue then I put them in an empty sealable container then the metal recycling.
