JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 What is a nice (somewhat fancy) scrollable font that you seem to like to use. Can be either script or stand alone letters or both. Thanks in advance. There are just too many to look through and was interested to seeing what others seem to like. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted January 7, 2020 Author Report Posted January 7, 2020 looks good but I guess I would have to modify the letters some or else there are floaters. not sure how you guys handle that using that font. I was hoping there was a scrollable font that was designed to be scrollsawn. I will keep looking. I will find something. Thanks. Quote
Roq Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 Every font is scrollable, just add bridges. I print out what I need and pencil in the bridges. If it's a font you want to use frequently you can spend a little time in inkscape and modify it and save it. Foxfold 1 Quote

As I said i will work something out. Happy Scrolling!! Edited January 8, 2020 by JTTHECLOCKMAN Quote

kmmcrafts Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 There is a site somewhere out on the interwebs where there is a big list of downloadable fonts that were designed to be used for scroll sawing.. The site is not very popular and I always have a heck of a time finding it.. Most the fonts I use are from that site.. Maybe search for scroll saw fonts on google.. this site has about 10 -15 different fonts.. with some fancy looking ones etc.. Over the years I've downloaded most all these fonts that was made back in the day on those old MSN groups.. seems like Sylvia ( TheSawDustMistress ) modified a majority of those for designers to have ready made fonts to save time when making patterns... I have all of these on a drive on one of my old computers. but which one and what file it's in.. LOL... Probably take me several weeks to find it, LOL Best of luck in your search. Quote
Ninuninu Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 I personally like to use Brush Script MT. Found it very easy to scroll and also bridge Tony Quote
