Foxfold Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 I've always pressed my centre wheel on my mouse to bring things up in a separate tab. However, I can't do that today. Have I pressed a wrong button somewhere ? Not particularly aux fait with computer stuff so I'm a bit stumped Quote
JimErn Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 I use the middle click as we call it this side of the pond, no problems today with this or any site. chances are it is a windows thing, you might try first bringing up the mouse setting window (from the control panel) and double check to insure the scroll wheel is enabled for clicking, and what it should do when it is clicked push comes to shove, reboot the computer Foxfold 1 Quote
JimErn Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 and also, try another mouse, they do break you can also right click and select open in new tab, if something is really important now Foxfold 1 Quote
new2woodwrk Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 If you are running windows 10, the mouse settings may be Borked. Here are some fixes: Foxfold 1 Quote

JimErn Posted January 15, 2020 Report Posted January 15, 2020 Did your husband walk by the computer? My wife claims that if I do that, hers gets fixed ROFL WayneMahler and Foxfold 2 Quote
teachnlearn Posted January 22, 2020 Report Posted January 22, 2020 Mice get dirty and will act up from the dirt. Look up a YouTube or info video on cleaning the mouse. The oils and dirt from our hands and surfaces will make them act weird, or even like they are broke, when they just need a good cleaning. Part of a Saturday cleaning, vac the floor, dust, wash clothes, clean the mouse. No not the one in the cage, the one on the computer! RJF Foxfold 1 Quote
