Popular Post oldhudson Posted January 30, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) Here's a jewelry Box I completed. I actually started this some years back. (this is going to be in a silent auction for the non-profit I do volunteer work for) The central inlay is from Constantine's. The banding around the inlay I made. Note the side of the case where I cut coves on the table saw and the splines added to strengthen the mitered corners. The wood is walnut with maple banding. There's a mirror on the inside cover. The top tray slides on the lower tray. Both can be removed. There's space 'hidden' under the bottom tray for a passport or some paper money. Thanks for looking. meflick Posted January 31, 2020 Report Posted January 31, 2020 Stunningly beautiful and hopefully will bring a commanding price at the silent auction. If not, bid on it yourself and take it back home! thanks for showing. oldhudson 1 Quote
