Hello, I would like some help creating a pattern for my wife's favorite car that she bought new in 1972. It is a Datsun 240Z that she had 40+ years before she sold it to a collector.

I am thinking a Christmas tree ornament would be a great reminder for her. Thank you for your help!

I just printed the pattern to see how it'd come out.. If I was making it ( which I've actually been going to ask for a pattern of a 280z but this is the same thing so I may use the pattern) I would crop out everything other than the car.. I don't use the PDF size scaling, I didn't even know that was possible.. I save the image as jpeg or whatever it is when i right click the image and save as.. Then i go find the image ( icon ) where ever it saves to and right click that.. select print then a window comes up with photo sized printing.. ( ie 8 x 10 or 5 x 7 etc etc..) Most things I print as ornaments I print at 3.5 x 5 and they come out nicely at a ornament size.. I usually have to select  the check box to fit image to frame.. Since I make a lot of ornaments and sell I typically select the number of prints that will fit to a full sheet of paper.. ( typically 4 patterns if the print is good sized at 3.5 x 5 ) some patterns I use the 5 x 7 format and only get two patterns per sheet.. I do this this way so I'm not wasting papers as I print on the self adhesive shipping labels and one pattern per sheet gets pricey.. That is why I use this resizing method.. Stack cut 5 at a time.. Normally stock 20 ornaments of each style so 20 ornaments per sheet of paper cutting said pattern 4 times..

Anyway, I've done many of the patterns of cars I've asked for into ornaments and most have been doable in a ornament.. I think this one is too but as I said.. I'd crop out the car only and then print it out in either a 3.5 x 5 or a 5 x 7 format.. should be doable..

BTW, Jim Awesome Job with the designing.. I might use for future project..
