Scrappile Posted March 21, 2020 Report Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Thank you for posting. I sent that on to my wife to share with her sewing group. Would be a great project for them.... I assume there is a way to sterilizer them before they get to the hospital, otherwise I don't think they would accepted.... Edited March 21, 2020 by Scrappile Quote
ChelCass Posted March 21, 2020 Report Posted March 21, 2020 I belong to several crafting groups on Facebook and several of the ladies are using the material they have stock piled and making these mask. I only saw two people with masks on today while shopping. Quote
Scrappile Posted March 21, 2020 Report Posted March 21, 2020 Personally I think masks are a smart thing. Won't stop everything but will help. If you cough the germs can not travel as far,,, just one more layer of some protection for everyone... Certainly can't hurt anyone. amazingkevin and Charlie E 2 Quote

Hospitals have services or their own equipment to wash/ sanitize sheets, gowns, surgical gowns, towels, They have disposable medical supplies, but still don't have disposable bed sheets, RJF Quote
teachnlearn Posted March 22, 2020 Author Report Posted March 22, 2020 If you go to the sewing site and download the pattern, you will find there are 3 sizes of patterns. One idea is the scroll saw community could cut patterns out of inexpensive wood or cardboard. The patterns need to be the same and repeatable. With the 3 patterns cut in batches, each person sewing would get the three sizes to repeatably trace. RJF Quote
