we put in a oak floor the past three days - 375 sq ft

I ordered this before the hysteria hit , and it came late last week -

we finished putting it in today ( ive got a great brother -in-law - his name is Bernie )

not sure we could of done it without him- its gorgeous -have to sand it , stain it

and finish it -etc.   I told my wife -thats it for the rest of the year -no more remodeling for now !

Ok i get it -were all into wood - my wife , brother in law and myself put this floor in - ( 375 sq ft )

Their is a bit of a story with it - but by now you can guess where this is going -

we ordered this floor over a month ago - before this pandemic hit - when we had some decent shows lined up

figuring it would pay for the floor -but bingo - our first 4-6 shows are gone -so their is a stress level here-

but on the other hand  it kept my mind ( and my wifes ) off of stuff and it actually turned out exceptional -

I was going to wait for after i put up the molding and furniture in the room -but thats a few days away -

so here you go :

 

and by the way -my personal thank you to those who are working so hard to keep our communities

together working in our hospitals , police stations and care givers and others who put themselves in harms way

( two of my daughters are included in here )

God bless them all - and Thank you so very much -take care of yourselves !

Nice job on the floor! I went another way and installed vinyl due to the traffic I get/dog marks. I did my whole house, but just finished. Regardless, huge project that looks good when done.

today were going to sand and restain the edge molding

to put on the finishing touches - it was a bigger job than i though it

would be - but its nice
