Shame about the blowout. I have just finished a pattern that used a lot of #0 spiral blades and there were times when the ply gave up a sharp corner or a thin island. I am convinced it was the quality of the ply, it was only 1/8" and 3 ply and with my smallest spiral, #0, it was too aggressive. I will try some comparison with 1/4" baltic birch when I get some.

yes it looks great!! i could not tell where your blow out was so as spirithorse said nobody knows but you ... i also like the dogs and now im off to MY wood shop!! i have really small drill bits to put in my drill and really small blads to put in my saw so i can FINALLY get started on my wizzard picture...wish me luck!!!
