I'm using Square Up to take CC at the events we're doing.

One thing that became very obvious during the event, is that inventory control can get out of hand very quickly thanks to a hectic buying spree.

One thing I thought of, is using the Inventory Mgmt piece of Square Up to control inventory sales and inventory replacement.

Does anyone else use that piece or have other methods of controlling what is sold and needs to be replaced in inventory?

Thanks as always in advance for reading

I am older than dirt so all these new fangled computer aided systems that make things so easy just leave me behind.

I use square to accept card charges.

My products have tags, the kind that are on string, they have an inventory control number and the price.  I collect them as they sell.  During slack times I make/update a list of sales by number and tick marks for how many of that number sold.

When I get home all I have to do is add in the description of what sold to help me decide what to remake

Thanks @JimErn

I set up the item library this morning and this seems like the trick for me.

I added all the items, prices, stock qty, set the stock alerts, added images and added a discount for 2fers.

I already had the tax added.

I did several test transactions this morning - all I have to do is go to the item library, select the item, scan the card and poof. Done!

Then when I get back to the shop, I run a daily report and get a list of all the items I sold for the day and use that to replenish inventory.

This square thing is incredible for the price!

It's all beyond me, My Daughter uses Square to accept cards on our  stall, but I stick to cash. I'm old enough to be able to add. subtract, divide and multiply  without a machine ;)

I can do all these things as well Denny but never very good at it I do have the Square for paymentsbut it can confuse me.
